Korea, China to Hold Consular Chiefs' Meeting

The Foreign Ministry said Monday South Korea and China will hold a meeting of consular chiefs in Seoul Tuesday.

Kim Wook, director-general of the ministry's Overseas Residents and Consular Affairs Bureau, will lead the Korean delegation while Luo Tian Guang will lead the Chinese contingent.

Topics on the agenda for the the meeting include protecting the safety of Koreans residing in China, reducing the number of illegal Chinese aliens here, and curbing illegal fishing in each other's waters.
