Korean Fried Chicken Brand to be Sold at NFL, NBA, MLB Stadiums

After sparking a craze among Asian tourists and Korean Wave fans from overseas, Korea's ubiquitous late night snack combination of "fried chicken and beer" will be sold at popular sporting events in the United States.

Genesis BBQ, a South Korean fried chicken chain, said Monday that it signed an agreement with U.S.-based Levy Restaurants in Seoul on Monday to supply its products to Levy’s shops and kiosks at 92 sports stadiums for the National Football League, Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association.

Under the deal, Genesis BBQ will also supply food to sports stadiums of 125 colleges associated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

The company said it has also signed an official three-year sponsorship agreement with the NFL, which draws one billion viewers around the world each year.
