Seoul to Host Diverse Cultural Events in May

A diverse range of cultural events will take place around Seoul this month.
 
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on Wednesday that it will hold a canola flower festival on Seorae Island in the Han River for two days starting on May 16. The festival will feature music concerts and a photo zone.
 
At Namsangol Hanok Village, a wide range of entertainment programs for children will be held, including storytelling events and water pistol fights.
 
For a month starting May 15th, family musicals will take the stage at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. At the Seoul Museum of Art, unique exhibitions will also be put on display.
 
In May, South Korea celebrates children’s day on the fifth and parent’s day on the eighth.
