A U-N sponsored ministerial-level symposium that was to be held in Bangkok has been indefinitely postponed due to concerns over SARS in the region. The 61 member countries of the U-N Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific were to meet in the Thai capital at the end of this month.
