Final Roster for Women's World Cup Unveiled

The roster for the FIFA Women's World Cup that will open in Canada next month has been finalized.
 
The Korea Football Association unveiled the 23-player roster on Friday that included Ji So-yun, Park Eun-sun and Yeo Min-ji. Ji has scored 38 goals in 74 international matches while Park is considered to be a powerful striker. Yeo played a pivotal role in South Korea winning the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
 
The team led by Yoon Deok-yeo will depart for the U.S. next Wednesday and play an exhibition game against the U.S. before heading to Canada on June 4.
 
The team will aim to advance into the round of 16 for the first time ever at the World Cup event. The last time South Korean women's team took part in the event was 12 years ago.
