A park bearing the name of South Korea's capital has opened in Tehran.

"Seoul Park" is the third public facility in the city that has a Korea-related name after "Seoul Street" and "Korea Square."

Iran's Vice President and Seoul's Ambassador to the country were on hand at the opening ceremony held on Monday.

The one thousand square meter park is located in northern Tehran and has in its compound a public library and an indoor shooting range.
