Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province announced on Monday that the Jarasum International Jazz Festival and France’s Jazz sous les pommiers signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to plan joint programs.
 
Gapyeong County said that a signing ceremony for the MOU was held in Coutances, Normandy on Sunday.
 
Under the MOU, the two sides will plan joint programs to attract tourists and advance into musical festival markets abroad.
 
Jazz sous les pommiers is France’s leading jazz festival, held every year around Ascension Day, which comes 40 days after Easter. This year will mark its 34th year.
