Lee Seung-yeop Hits 400th KBO Home Run

Samsung Lions slugger Lee Seung-yeop became the first player to hit 400 career home runs in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) Wednesday.
 
Lee hit the record homer against Koo Seung-min of the Lotte Giants in the third inning at Pohang Baseball Stadium, the second home of the Lions in North Gyeongsang Province.
 
Lee achieved the milestone in 13 seasons in the KBO since his debut in 1995.
 
As Lee hit 159 home runs in Japan over eight years, his lifetime home run total has reached 559.
 
Samsung defeated Lotte 8-1 in the game, extending its winning streak to five.
 
Also on Wednesday, Doosan beat Kia 8-1 and KT defeated SK 4-2. LG extended its win against NC and Hanhwa won against Nexen.
