N. Korean Web Sites in China Crippled for 2nd Day

North Korean Web sites hosted on Chinese servers showed connection glitches for a second consecutive day on Friday.

The Web sites include Uriminzokkiri, the North’s propaganda Web site aimed at South Koreans, and other propaganda sites such as Our Nation School and DPRK Today.

On the other hand, North Korean Web sites operating inside the reclusive state, including the Rodong Sinmun and the Korean Central News Agency are functioning normally.

An official of the Ministry of Unification said it is looking into the causes of the connection glitches.

Last December, domestic North Korean Web sites came under a cyberattack, suffering outages for nearly 10 days.
