South Korea's Kim Deok-hyeon won the nation's first gold in triple jump at the Asian Athletics Championships in Wuhan, China on Saturday.
 
Kim jumped 16-point-86 meters to beat China's Cao Shuo by zero-point-01 meters in the final.
 
Meanwhile, fellow triple jumper Sung Jin-suok, who made his international debut, jumped 15-point-76 meters to place ninth.
 
Choi Ye-eun jumped four-point-20 meters and finished fourth in the female pole vault event.
