KBS Programs Honored at Banff Media Festival

Three programs produced by KBS have received awards at the Banff World Media Festival.
KBS' “Trial of Chunhyang: A Girl Prosecuted by Feudalism” won the Rockie Award in the category of arts and performance, while “Discovery of Love” grabbed the award in the melodrama category. “Immortal Songs: The Michael Bolton Episode” took home the award in the music and variety category.
KBS received awards at the festival last year as well with drama “Good Doctor” and documentary “Colors, 4 Desires.”
Awards given at the Banff World Media Festival are among the world’s most prestigious broadcasting awards, along with the Emmy Awards and the Prix Italia.
