S. Korea Reaches Round of 16 at Women's World Cup

South Korea is headed to the round of 16 at the Women's World Cup for the first time after defeating Spain 2-1.
 
In Ottawa, Canada, Team Korea ceded the first goal to Spain's Verónica Boquete in the 29th minute. But Cho So-hyun netted an equalizer in the eighth minute of the second half, followed by a second goal from Kim Soo-yun in the 33rd minute.
 
Led by Yoon Deok-yeo, South Korea reached the knockout stage with one win, one draw and one loss, and will face France on Monday.
