The South Korean women's team has clinched gold in the epee event at the Asian Fencing Championships in Singapore.
 
The team, composed of Shin A-lam, Choi In-jeong, Choi Eun-sook and Kang Young-mi, defeated China 45-40 on Monday.
 
In the men's foil team event, South Korea lost 45-31 to China to win silver.
 
South Korea has so far won four gold and five silvers at the six-day event that will end later on Tuesday.
