South Korea has claimed another gold medal on the fourth day of the Gwangju Summer Universiade.
At the women's 25-meter pistol team event in Naju, South Jeolla Province, on Monday, Kim Ji-hye, Han Ji-young and Cho Mun-hyeon together scored one-thousand-738 to snag the top prize
Thailand grabbed silver with one-thousand-715 points while the bronze went to the Russian team with a score of one-thousand-708.
In the women's recurve individual event, Olympic gold medalist archer Ki Bo-bae will face fellow South Korean Mi-sun for the gold. South Korean archers Ku Bon-chan and Lee Seung-yun will also compete in the finals of the men's recurve individual event.
As of noon Monday, China is leading the pack with seven gold medals for a total of 13. South Korea is running second with five gold, six silver and six bronze. Japan, France and the U.S. round out the top five.
