[Universiade 2015] S. Korea Wins 2 Golds in Archery

South Korea added two gold medals in archery on Tuesday at the Gwangju Summer Universiade.

The South Korean men’s team of Kim Jong-ho, Kim Tae-yoon and Yang Young-ho won the compound title over Mexico 230-229.

Kim Jong-ho added gold along with Song Yun-soo in the mixed team event, defeating India 157-150.

Earlier in the day, the South Korean women’s team of Song Yun-soo, Seol Da-yeong and Kim Yun-hee won the compound title beating Malaysia 230-222.

In shooting, Kim Mi-so won a silver medal in the women’s 50-meter rifle prone event after losing to Jambozorg Mahlagha of Iran.

In judo, Kim Won-jin advanced to the final of the men’s under 60 kilo event.

In women's judo, Jeong Bo-kyeong and Kim Ji-youn will also fight for gold in the under 48 kilo and open events, respectively, on Tuesday evening.
