Moody's Investors Service may postpone the dispatch of a ratings evaluation team to South Korea until June. The U.S. credit rating agency was scheduled to send the team later this month.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy said the postponement of the delegation's visit means South Korea's sovereign rating will remain unchanged for the time being unless a sudden change in circumstances arises.

The move comes after two rounds of high-level discussions between the Korean government and the credit ratings agency in March and earlier this month.
