South Korean outfielder Choo Shin-soo of the Texas Rangers has become the first Asian player in Major League Baseball history to hit for the cycle.
 
Facing the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday, Choo doubled in the second inning, homered in the fourth, singled in the fifth and completed the cycle with a triple in the ninth, leading Texas to 9-0 victory.
 
With the feat, Choo’s batting average now stands at .235 this season.
