VOA: Diplomats in N. Korea Banned from Publications Critical of Dear Leader

North Korea has banned diplomats in Pyongyang from returning to the country with any kinds of publications that are critical of Kim Jong-un or his regime.

Citing a British foreign ministry report, Voice of America (VOA) said Wednesday that Pyongyang informed the diplomatic corps and members of international organizations of the measures on June 26.

VOA said photos, movies, books, mobile phones or flash drives with materials denouncing Kim Jong-un or the North Korean regime may not be brought into the country.

The British foreign ministry said the North's measures go against international human rights standards, which respect the freedom of thought and press. It added the North continues to ignore international responsibility regarding human rights.
