Wax Museum Opens in Seoul

A museum displaying wax sculptures of celebrities has opened in South Korea.

The French wax museum Grévin opened its first Asian branch in Seoul on Wednesday at the annex of the City Hall.

Grévin Seoul will display about 80 wax sculptures featuring domestic and foreign celebrities and popular K-pop singers and entertainers. It will also include figures of Pope Francis, retired figure skater Kim Yuna and George Clooney.

The city expects the museum to draw many foreign tourists and to create jobs in the field of wax figure production.
