S. Korea Defeats China 2-0 in East Asian Cup

South Korea has defeated China two-nil in the East Asian Cup football tournament.
 
Kim Seung-dae scored the opener in the 44th minute of the first half while Lee Jong-ho shot a second goal in the 12th minute of the second half at Wuhan Sports Center Stadium in China on Sunday.
 
Coached by Uli Stielike, South Korea is ahead on goal points over the North Korean team, which beat Japan two-one on Sunday.
 
South Korea outranks China with its all-time record at 17 wins, 12 draws and one loss.
 
The Reds are set to face off with Japan on Wednesday.
