The National Institute of Health (NIH) announced two more suspected cases of the deadly respiratory disease known as SARS Friday, raising the total number of suspected patients in South Korea to 10.

Among four people who were reported to the agency Thursday, the NIH categorized two Koreans, a man and a woman in their twenties, as being possible SARS cases because they displayed symptoms similar to those infected with the respiratory disease.

According to the agency, the man arrived from Beijing Thursday and the woman flew in from Shanghai on the same day. Both had spent extended periods of time in those cities.

In a related matter, the Ministry of Justice said Friday that foreigners suspected of having SARS will not be allowed to enter the country.
