Kim defeated China’s Li Zhaoyi 3-2 on Saturday in the final match of the women’s -49 kilogram event held in Moscow, Russia. The win boosted Kim to sixth place from 14 in the global rankings.
In the men’s -58 kilogram event, South Korea’s Kim Tae-hun added a bronze medal.
