South Korea will host a variety of events at this year’s Museum Embankment Festival in Frankfurt, Germany.

The South Korean Consulate General in Frankfurt said Monday that it will operate a pavilion to showcase Korean cuisine and culture at the German festival, which will be held from August 28 to 30 near the Main river.

The Korean pavilion will feature cultural and culinary highlights from South Korea by holding traditional and K-pop music concerts, and offering Korean dishes such as bibimbap and bulgogi.

As one of Europe’s representative festivals, the Museum Embankment Festival is held late August every year, drawing some three million visitors annually.

This marks the fifth time South Korea will participate in the festival.

The South Korean Consulate General will also introduce traditional and contemporary Korean music by hosting the third Korean Music Festival at the Frankfurt Opera on September 4 and 5.
