2015 Seoul-Canada Weeks to Begin Tuesday

The Seoul city government and the Canadian Embassy in the South Korean capital will hold various events during their “Seoul-Canada Weeks” running through mid-September.

As part of the events, an exhibition of some 100 Canadian books will be held at the Seoul Metropolitan Library from Tuesday to September 6.

The Canadian embassy in South Korea will also host a TEDx Seoul Salon event, where guest speakers will share inspiring stories on the theme of ‘Canada, people-to-people,’ and there will be screenings of a number of TED Talks.

In collaboration with the Canadian embassy, the Seoul city government has been celebrating the “Seoul-Canada Weeks” every year since 2013, which marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between South Korea and Canada.
