'Construction of Stadiums, Facilities for 2018 Olympics on Track'

The organizing committee for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics has revealed the construction sites of stadiums and facilities, and said the construction is on track as scheduled.

With 900 days left until the international sporting event kicks off, Organizing Committee President Cho Yang-ho made the remarks on Monday at a construction site in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.

Unveiling the construction site to the media, Cho said that construction of stadiums and facilities is under way as scheduled, and they will be completed in time for next year’s test event schedules and the Olympics.

Cho assured that the committee is making its best efforts for the construction of the Jeongseon Alpine Center, expecting no problems for holding test events set for January next year at the venue. He noted that test events can be held even before the center is completed 100 percent.
