The government will fully cover the medical expenses for test and treatment of people who are forcibly quarantined on suspicion of SARS. The government announced the plan after an emergency meeting of health-related ministers on the prevention of SARS Monday. Not ALL quarantined people will have their treatment paid for. The plan will cover only the expenses for those who have been ordered forcibly quarantined after undergoing epidemiological tests. Meanwhile, the Seoul city government is considering designating a military or national hospital for the treatment of suspected SARS-patients.
