Contemporary South Korean crafts will be displayed at an international biennale in Paris to mark 130 years since South Korea and France forged diplomatic relations.

Seoul's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft and Design Foundation will take part as the guest of honor in the second "Revelations" Fine Craft and Creation Fair to be held at the Grand Palais in Paris from Wednesday to Sunday.

The South Korean pavilion will be set up on a 150 square meter site at the center of the Grand Palais under the theme of "Newly Discovering South Korea."

Traditional Korean materials such as the paper "hanji" will be used to create a cozy, uniquely Korean space.

The Korean booth will exhibit some 180 works by 22 South Korean artists in six fields of craftsmanship including ceramics, metal, textiles and glass. The selected works are contemporary crafts based on traditional Korean culture that have garnered rave reviews abroad.
