S. Korea to Face Uzbekistan, Iraq, Yemen in AFC U-23 Championship

South Korea’s national soccer team has been placed in Group C, where it will take on Uzbekistan, Iraq and Yemen in the AFC U-23 Championship set for January 2016 in Qatar.
The official draw of the Asian Football Confederation’s championship was conducted on Saturday in Doha, the capital city of Qatar.
North Korea was placed in Group B along with Saudi Arabia, Japan and Thailand.
The 16 participating teams are split into four groups of four teams. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout stage.
The winner, the runners-up and the third-placed team will qualify for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Football Tournament.
