Two Koreas Exchange Lists Confirming Living Status of Preliminary Candidates

The two Koreas will exchange the final lists of separated families on Thursday for a reunion to take place later this month.

South Korea on Monday returned a list confirming the living status of 200 applicants picked by North Korea, while the North gave the South a list of 250 candidates with the information.

Based on the information, the Red Cross will reconfirm the candidates’ intent to participate in the reunion and the two Koreas will exchange the final lists of 100 family members from each side on Thursday at the truce village of Panmunjom.

The reunion will be held at the North's Mount Geumgang resort from October 20 to 26.
