[CISM 2015] S. Korea Adds Two Golds in Judo, Wrestling

South Korea added two more gold medals on Tuesday at the 2015 CISM World Games Korea, an international sports event for military service members.

Judoka Lee Seung-soo won a gold medal in the men’s 81-kilogram final, defeating Russia’s Aslan Lappinagov. 

It is Lee’s second medal in the event and South Korea's second gold.

In wrestling, Kim Jin-cheol won a gold medal in the men’s 57-kilogram freestyle final, beating Kazakhstan’s Vladimir Kudrin.

The South Korean shooting team took bronze with 326 points in the men’s trap event. 

As of 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, South Korea ranks fourth at the sixth CISM, with three gold, three silver and seven bronze medals. Russia is leading the medal count with 15 gold, followed by Brazil and China.
