South Korea's largest annual art fair is now underway in Seoul.

Hosted by Galleries Association Korea, the Korea International Art Fair kicked off Wednesday for a five-day run at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in southern Seoul.

A total of 182 galleries from eleven countries, including 20 galleries from main guest country Japan, will display various works of art, including paintings, sculptures, photography and installations.

Marking its 14th anniversary, the Korea International Art Fair will also feature lectures on art as investment, comparisons of the major global art fairs and biennales, South Korean monochromatic paintings, and the recent trends in the global art market.
