The government has formed a taskforce to allow local institutions to set up foreign schools and permit Korean students who studied abroad for at least three years to qualify for admission. The taskforce will hold its first meeting on Tuesday to discuss the revision of rules on the establishment and admission for such schools. The new rules will enable domestic institutions with a certain amount of capital and recommendation from foreign governments to establish foreign schools in South Korea.
