Red Cross Pres., VP to Lead S. Korean Participants in Reunions

The president and vice president of the Korean Red Cross will lead groups of South Korean participants in the upcoming inter-Korean family reunions, which will begin on October 20 at North Korea’s Mount Geumgang resort.
  
The Korean Red Cross announced that President Kim Sung-joo will lead the first group and Vice President Kim Sun-hyang the second group.
 
Some 400 South Koreans from 97 families will take part in the first round of reunions, which will begin on October 20 for a three-day run.
 
Approximately 250 South Koreans from 90 families will be reunited with their North Korean relatives in the second round starting on October 24.
