The National Hangeul Museum will host a free puppet show for families on Saturday in commemoration of Culture Day, which falls on the third Saturday of October.
 
"The Giant Turnip" tells the story of a poor family and their neighbors overcoming hardship during a food shortage.
 
The puppet show won the best actor award at the 2012 Gimcheon International Theater Festival for Family and the director and best actor awards at the Seoul Children's Theatre Awards this year.
 
It will be shown in the museum's auditorium at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
