2015 UniKorea Culture Week Events to Kick Off Oct. 27

The Unification Ministry will hold its "UniKorea Culture Week" events later this month near the Demilitarized Zone and major cities nationwide.

The event will kick off with an opening ceremony for a special exhibition titled "Unification Art Space" will take place on October 30 at Dorasan Station. 

A piece by painter Kim He-ryun and a "unification piano" made with barbed wire fence from the inter-Korean truce line will be among those to be displayed at the exhibit.

Following the opening ceremony, pianist Paik Kun-woo will hold a concert.

The following day, on October 31, Korean singers will stage a "unification shouting" performance at the Imjingak Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park alongside an art camp where citizens and artists will join together to create artworks. 

The UniKorea Culture Week events will be held from October 27 to November 1.
