S. Korea Wins All 3 Gold in Doubles at Denmark Badminton Open

South Korean badminton players have won all three gold medals in the doubles events at the Denmark Open.

The world’s top ranked pair of Lee Yong-dae and Yoo Yeon-seong beat the Chinese duo of Liu Cheng and Lu Kai, 2-0, in men’s doubles on Sunday, extending their winning streak to three.

The world's number seven pair Ko Sung-hyun and Kim Ha-na bagged a gold in mixed doubles, beating Ahmad Tantowi and Lilyana Natsir of Indonesia, 2-1.

In women’s doubles, Jung Kyung-eun and Shin Seung-chan won gold after Tian Qing and Zhao Yunlei of China called off the game citing Zhao’s hand injury.

In singles events held earlier, Sung Ji-hyun brought home a bronze medal in the women’s event.
