A study shows that October is the most preferred month for South Koreans to tie the knot.  
 
Based on analysis of data compiled since 2002, matchmaking company Duo said that the largest number of weddings, or 13-point-two percent, were held in October.
 
November was the second most preferred month for weddings with 12-point-five percent, followed by May and April.
 
Summer was found to be the low season for the wedding industry, as the smallest number of weddings took place in August and July with the figures hovering around three percent.
