Bucheon Int'l Animation Festival Opens

The 17th Bucheon International Animation Festival opened Friday at the Korea Manhwa Museum in the city of Bucheon. 

This year, 160 films from 35 countries will be screened including the opening film "April and the Extraordinary World."

The entries will compete for 17 awards. Screenings will take place at the Manhwa Museum, Bucheon City Hall and CGV megaplex in Bucheon.

Various events will also be held during the festival period through Tuesday including an animation fair and an anime-camping program.
