S. Korea's Choi Mi-sun Grabs Gold in 2015 Archery World Cup Final

South Korea’s Choi Mi-sun has grabbed a gold medal at the Mexico City 2015 Archery World Cup Final.
 
Choi beat Deepika Kumari of India 6-2 in the women's finals held in Mexico’s capital on Sunday.
 
Since her debut on the international stage this year, the 19-year-old Choi has secured the number one spot in terms of world ranking and world cup ranking.
 
Fellow South Korean Ki Bo-bae, who won a gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics, lost to Taiwan’s Le Chien-ying 6-2 in the quarterfinals. In the men’s matches, Kim Woo-jin took home the bronze medal.
 
In a mixed team event organized between South Korea, the world’s number one ranking team, and Mexico, the host country of the World Cup Final, South Korea’s team, made up of Choi Mi-sun and Kim Woo-jin, grabbed the gold with a score of 6-2.
 
The Archery World Cup Final is held in the form of a tournament in which archers ranking first to seventh and an archer from the host country compete.
