South Korea failed to advance to the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup after losing 2-0 to Belgium in Chile on Thursday.
 
South Korea finished at the top of Group B, having advanced to the round of 16 with two wins and one draw. 
 
Meanwhile, Brazil, which ranked second in Group B, beat New Zealand, 1-0. The team will face Nigeria, which beat Australia, in the quarterfinals.
 
Mexico also took down host Chile 4-1 to earn a berth into the quarterfinals.
