Seoul City to Create Cartoon Town in Namsan

The popular districts of Myeongdong and Namsan are aiming to become hubs for comics, cartoons and animation.
Seoul city plans to renovate the Seoul Animation Center building so it can accommodate up to 50 companies from the current eight.
The facility will comprise creative rooms for individual artists, a playground to inspire the imagination and a gift shop.
Meanwhile, the 450-meter road leading up to Seoul Animation Center from Myeongdong station subway exit four will be designated as an 'animation road' which will feature cartoon workshops and shops for the public.
