The Delegation of the European Commission to South Korea said Thursday it will stage two open concerts in commemoration of Europe Day on Friday in Seoul, inviting high-class musicians from diverse European countries. On a special note, Ambassador Dorian Prince, head of the Delegation, is slated to play an organ. The first concert is scheduled to start at noon at the Fountain Plaza of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts with the second beginning at eight p.m. at Myeongdong Catholic Cathedral. Europe Day is an annual occasion for activities fostering closer inter-European ties, for providing information on European Union issues, and for festivities that bring together diverse peoples and different European cultures. It is the first time the Delegation will host a concert to commemorate Europe Day in Seoul.
