South Korea’s Choi Min-jeong grabbed the gold medal at the International Skating Union World Cup Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2015.
 
Choi ranked first in the women’s 1,500-meter final on Saturday at the championships held in Toronto, Canada, defeating her compatriot Shim Suk-hee.
 
Kwak Yoon-ki also won gold in the men’s 1,500-meter final.
 
South Korean skaters, however, failed to advance to the finals of both men’s and women’s 500 meter events.
