South Korea secured its second straight victory at the World Baseball Softball Confederation’s Premier 12 tournament in Taiwan.
 
The victory came after South Korea, eighth in the world rankings, beat tenth-ranked Venezuela, 13-2, at Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium on Thursday.
 
The game was called after seven innings in line with the mercy rule, which is enacted when a team leads by 15 runs after five innings or by ten runs after seven innings.
 
South Korea will next face twelfth-ranked Mexico at 7 p.m. Saturday.
