South Korea's national football team shut out Laos for its sixth straight win in the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
 
Team Korea, led by coach Uli Stielike, defeated Laos five-nil in an away game at Vientiane, Laos on Tuesday.
 
Ki Sung-yueng and Son Heung-min each scored two goals while Suk Hyun-jun scored another.
 
With the win, the South Korean team remains firmly at the top of Group G and has held 17 teams scoreless in the past year.
 
The national team ended the year with 16 wins, three ties and one loss.
