S. Korea Reaches Premier 12 Final with Comeback over Japan

South Korea staged a dramatic late-inning comeback against Japan to advance to the finals of the Premier 12 baseball tournament on Thursday.

Trailing three-nil after eight innings, South Korea came from behind in the top of the ninth to defeat Japan four-three at Tokyo Dome.

The first batter Oh Jae-won got things going with a single. With the score at two-three, cleanup hitter Lee Dae-ho capped off the rally by delivering a two-run single.

South Korea will next face the winner of the United States-Mexico semifinal game in the final on Saturday.
