'Assassination' Wins Best Film at Blue Dragon Film Awards

Director Choi Dong-hoon’s “Assassination,” an action film set during Japan's colonial occupation of Korea, won Best Picture at the 36th Blue Dragon Film Awards.

Director Ryu Seung-wan won best director for his film “Veteran” at the awards ceremony Thursday night at Kunghee University.

The best actor award went to Yoo Ah-in for his role of Crown Prince Sado in “The Throne." The best actress award went to Lee Jung-hyun in “Alice in Earnestland,” a black comedy directed by Ahn Gooc-jin.

Oh Dal-soo of “Ode to My Father” won best supporting actor and Jun Hye-jin of “The Throne” won best supporting actress.

The best new actor award went to Choi Woo-sik of "Set Me Free," and the best new actress award went to Lee Yoo-young of "The Treacherous."
