The Ministry of Education has set up a 16-member committee tasked with reviewing state-approved history textbooks.
    
The committee, consisting of scholars, teachers and parents, will deliberate on standards for what the book should include, review the manuscripts and seek revisions of the content if necessary.
    
Following precedents of publishing state-authored textbooks for elementary students, the ministry will disclose the names of the committee members after the writing of the textbooks is completed.
