Salvation Army Begins Year-End Street Fund Raising

The Salvation Army Korea Territory began its end-of-year charity fundraising with a bell-ringing ceremony in downtown Seoul Plaza Tuesday.

This year, the Salvation Army will have the fundraising kettles in some 450 locations nationwide with the goal to raise seven billion won, or roughly six million U.S. dollars, in donations.

Alongside the street charity pots, the group said it will raise funds through other channels by collecting donations at toll gates and through automated phone calls.
