Gwangju to Host UNESCO Memory of World Committee for Asia Pacific

Gwangju City in Jeolla Province will be home to the UNESCO’s Memory of the World Committee for Asia and the Pacific.
The Asia Culture Center, a cultural center in the city said that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in China on Wednesday regarding the establishment of the committee’s center.
The move is a follow-up measure to President Park Geun-hye’s special speech given at UNESCO last week.
